1. 参观和考察学校
预约参观考察学校(首先进入学校的，先注册，然后通过邮件在网上预约参观学校的时间，一般学校都需要你提前预约，也可以自己接打电话预约)。收到回信按预约时间访问学校，会有招生办的老师带领参观校园然后帮助你了解相关学校信息。
2. 网上提交申请材料
确定学校后就可以在提交申请材料，学校的通常都会有完善的申请流程，按照提示和要求来就好。学校收到递交材料后如果有不完善的地方仍然会通过邮件形式与家长沟通，所以记得时常看看邮箱以及垃圾邮件箱。
3. 等待面试通知
从申请到收到面试通知这个过程会比较漫长，至少一个月，两个月也完全有可能。
因为，泰国人办事速度较慢，申请的学生越来越多，而招生办通常就是两三个负责人，她们每天有接待不完的访问者以及上百封邮件要回复。
所以如果怠慢你是非常正常的，建议勤发邮件沟通以防被疏漏。准备的这期间可以好好帮助孩子准备面试。低龄儿童面试对英文的要求不高，能简单的交流。
但是一年级以后的需要有一定的基础，面试包括听说读甚至写，比想象中要难。所以一定要有英文基础。(但各个学校都存在不同程度的差异，所以看你选择的是哪个学校)
4. 面试结果
参加学校面试后，不会立马有结果，通常等上一个月两个月都很正常。所以建议你至少提前半年开始办理申请。泰国开学时间一般都在八月份，一个学年分四个学期，平均两个月为一学期。
5. 交建校费和学费并保留收费单
如果面试成功学校会学校会通知你按时缴费(建校费和学费，学费可以按一学年交也可以按一学期交)学校收到款项会给你邮寄收费单据和签证所需的推荐材料(单据和签证材料都得保存好，这个后续去大使馆办签证要用到)。

据英国《华闻周刊》消息，英国近日学费上涨问题已导致大批本土学生放弃进入大学学习，为了吸引秀的研究者，英国高校正努力加大奖学金发放力度。
根据《华闻周刊》采访调查得知，对于众多正在忐忑等待博士申请结果的学生来说，奖学金是尤为至关重要的。为此，记者特地采访了部分成功申请到奖学金的中国学生，为众多后来者提供参考。
在英国高校申请奖学金
没有想像得那么困难
“学校免掉了我的学费，并帮助我补上了本土学生和国际学生在学费上的差价，差不多有九千到一万镑，而生活费是由我的导师从项目资金中拨给我的，所有加起来一年差不多有2万5千镑吧。”在剑桥大学攻读最后一年材料工程博士项目的陈炳安向《华闻周刊》描述自己的奖学金情况。
他告诉记者，英国高校绝大多数的奖学金是仅单独提供给英国本地学生或是欧洲学生。即便牛津和剑桥一类的有很多私人奖学金提供给中国学生，更多的博士生还是通过导师的接受资助。
陈炳安所在研究所的资金主要来源于与欧洲合作的项目，他建议想要申请奖学金的同学多与导师沟通，了解哪些项目资金比较充裕，即使不能申请到学校的奖学金，导师也可以从项目资金中拨一部分钱出来。
陈炳安同时提到，还有很大一部分学生是受中国国家奖学金资助来到英国学习的，他的同学李黄龙就是其中之一。
李黄龙是电子工程专业的一名博士生，今年是他来到剑桥大学的第三年。本科毕业于北京大学物理学院后，他通过北京大学的留学服务中心得知了中国留学基金委员会和剑桥大学联合资助的奖学金，在这项名为“建设高水平大学”剑桥专项奖学金的全额资助下，他才得以来到英国最顶尖的学府进行深造。
“我每三个月会收到学校寄出的950镑的支票，学费则是由国家支付。”李黄龙表示对于国家奖学金的竞争并没有大家普遍认为的那么激烈，“其实申请并不是很难，当时很多同学认为美国的奖学金比较多，就去了美国，导致申请英国奖学金的很多名额空缺出来。”
接受国家奖学金资助的学生出国前都要签署一个合同，规定其在学业完成之后需回国服务两年。如果学生违约将受到一定程度的惩罚，其中包括支付120%的赔偿金。李黄龙说道：“如果在读完后继续申请博士后项目的话，可以申请一年到三年的延期，否则就要按照规定回国两年，而对两年之后的去向就没有什么硬性规定了。”
申请途径与评选标准
大多数英国高校的网站都会提供博士项目奖学金的细则，这也是最直接了解并申请奖学金的方式。
陈炳安认为，成绩固然是申请奖学金的“敲门砖”，然而英国高校更加注重多方面发展和相关操作经验。“成绩好代表了你具备研究的基本能力，而学校同样看重你是否有实习经验和课外活动的经历。同时一份有说服力的推荐信也很必要，在申请奖学金的时候往往要单独提交一份推荐信。”
今年夏天刚刚从卡迪夫大学建筑专业硕士毕业的张同学申请奖学金的情况有些特殊，作为一名中国学生，她占据了其他学生所没有的“优势”。卡迪夫大学建筑学院是BRE低碳环保项目的其中一个研究中心，近年来与中国企业的合作也在不断加强中。中国很多旧建筑在临近使用年急需进行环保改造，但却没有足够的知识和成熟的操作能力，而英国高校可以帮助提供一些咨询服务。
她说道：“我所申请的博士项目负责人，也就是我们的院长，与中国的联系交流很多。他需要经常跑北京、成都和康定，以往有一位同样来自中国的博士生做他的助理，现在那位博士生临近毕业。在所有奖学金申请者的其他条件都相仿的情况下，我的导师可能更偏向资助我吧。”
张同学在递交申请前与导师进行了长期的沟通和探讨，并根据导师所提出的项目做出了细致的研究并写出了具有研究潜力的计划书。她同时认为申请本校的博士也会占据一定的优势。
她认同陈炳安对于评审标准的观点，“我现在在等待我的硕士毕业论文成绩，这在一定程度上会影响到我是否可以成功拿到这份奖学金。而在推荐信方面，最了解你的老师写的推荐信往往是最有力的。”
她表示总体上讲，中国学生能够独享的奖学金种类并不多，需要通过自己去相关资助网站上查找，很多学生由于嫌麻烦或者不自信错失了这些机会。她认为英国高校不断加大对中国学生的资金帮助是一种积极地现象，也为更多优秀的学生提供了研究和发展的平台。
奖学金意味着什么
就读于伯明翰阿斯顿大学化学工程博士的杨扬明年四月就即将毕业了，他当初从伯明翰大学毕业后选择了排名并不靠前的阿斯顿大学，就是因为考虑到奖学金的因素。
“奖学金对我来说很重要，我希望可以自力更生，在经济上支持自己的学业，如果没有考虑经济上的因素的话，我可能会选择去更好的学校。”
陈炳安本科就读于帝国理工大学，在拿到帝国理工和剑桥大学两份Offer的时候，他毅然选择了有奖学金支持的剑桥大学。他告诉记者：“我来自广东，那边的人喜欢做生意，爸妈本来不同意我读博，而我本人也偏爱创业。之所以能继续做研究是因为我把读博士当成一份工作，而奖学金就是我的工资。”
各个专业奖学金分配的不同也会左右学生的研究方向。杨扬发现到工程科系的奖学金普遍较多，由于研究课题与企业项目直接挂钩而经费充足，企业也倾向于聘用高校的研究生来进行工作。反之，商科的研究生获得奖学金的机会就偏少，因为企业往往会找成熟的机构去做外包。
此外，很多学生在签证政策变化之后，很难通过觅得一份高薪工作从而继续留在英国。对于仍想留在这里感受英国和教育的学生，读博士也成为他们“曲线救国”的一种选择。

While recommendation letters are never a bad idea to include in the application, even if the college does not require one, many colleges do necessitate the inclusion of one. Here is some advice to keep in mind when writing a college recommendation letter:
Know the candidate - it may sound obvious, but it is important that you know the candidate well. After all, how can you write a college recommendation letter for a someone you know little about? 留学马来西亚体检准备攻略
一、体检准备
1.材料准备
要准备的材料不算多，主要是大家的身份证明，即本人的护照和签证，由于是新生居留和学生卡可能还没有发放，所以直接出示自己的`护照以及签证，就足够证明本人的合法身份了。
然后是进行体检的表格(Health ExaminationForm)，可以抵达后领取，也可以直接在上下载，里面又涉及到基本信息的内容是需要自己填的，而且还需要贴上最近的照片。
2.身体准备
体检的前一天要保证正常的饮食和作息，这样才会有一个比较健康的身体状况，而且当天要记得吃了早饭再去，不然可能会低血糖，而且要记得多喝水，因为要进行尿检。
女生要特别注意避开经期，因为体检中部分的项目是在经期的时候不能做的，大家再进行预约的时候，一定要保证自己不是在经期或者即将到来，保证自己能够完成所有的项目检查。
二、体检地址
基本上各大合法的诊所和医院，都是可以进行体检的，其结果都会受到认可，大家选择距离自己比较近的就可以了，不过由于需要进行胸透等检查，所以要确保诊所有X光设备。
三、体检流程
首先要做的就是填表，完善表格的基本信息，如果大家在家已经填好了可以在现场节省这一步骤，然后就是接受尿检，需要去厕所取样，记得多喝水才能够顺利的拿到样品。
紧接着就是去五官科进行视力、耳鼻口的检查，近视的学生可以直接报自己的视力，这样不需要摘眼镜，还需要测身高和体重;紧接着是测量血压，然后会抽血准备样品检查。
最后就是去进行X光检查，对内脏进行直接的胸透，需要脱掉上衣，女生也要脱内衣，检查是比较快的，大家不需要担心，整个过程大概两个小时，完成后就可以回家等结果了。

一、证件类
去马来西亚读书，证件是一定不能少带的。如果你少带了哪样证件的话，连出入境都是不行的，更别说去马来西亚的学校办理入学的手续了。身份证的原件你可以不需要带，但是护照是一定要带的，还有学校给你发的录取通知书，对你办理入学是非常重要的，还有证件照片，在办理学生证的时候会用得上。还有一些其他学校需要你准备的文件，你一定都要带齐全了，把他们都放在你随身携带的包包里面，放在大行李箱里面也会很麻烦。
二、费用
到马来西亚去读书是有英语的要求的，所有有需要学习英语的学生要接受英语的培训，如果是在国内学习3个月的话费用是5000元左右，在马来西亚学习英语的费用是8000元左右。在课程的学习上面要看你们选的学校，在公立学校读本科的学费是8000元-12000元之间，硕士的学费是12000-15000元之间，在马来西亚的非公立学校读书的学费是30000-40000元之间，硕士一般是学习一年半学费是70000元。另外还有生活费用3500元-5000元一个月，一年下来在生活上面的花费是42000元到60000元左右。
三、生活类
1、衣物：马拉西亚是没有冬天的，所以羽绒服等非常厚的衣服是不需要带的，多带几件T恤，就你们平时在国内夏天穿的衣物就可以，鞋子也是。衣服、鞋子在马来西亚好一点的都比国内的要贵，所以还是从国内带过去会好一点。
2、文具：你在上课的时候做笔记需要用到的笔记本还有荧光笔，铅笔、橡皮擦、笔芯也都带上，如果你使用钢笔的话，也带一瓶墨水过来，还有小型的订书机等等，你可以把这些东西都放在你的文具包里面不会散落出来。
3、洗漱用品：洗漱用品虽然在马来西亚的超市里面有卖，而且还便宜，但是短时间你可能没有时间去购买，你可以从家里带少量的过来，等到把这部分的用完之后，再去超市买，还有一些护肤品这里也是要比国内的要便宜，不需要从家里带很多过来。
4、药品：带一些常见的药品，比如感冒的、过敏的、止痒的、中暑的等等，平时用药就可以治好的小病就不用去诊所了。
5、防晒用品：马来西亚的天气非常的晒，防晒霜是最最重要的，还有太阳镜、太阳帽、遮阳伞，这些可以把它带齐。
6、电器：手机、电脑(有就带过来)、充电器、电池、插线板、转换插头(这个其实在马来西亚也有，还是带着比较好)。

1、托福
想要申请美国大学的国际生要提交托福成绩，大部分学校都要求不低于80分，有些学校对于不达标的学生提供有条件录取，待成绩合格后，进入大学继续学习。
建议大家在申请之前考出优秀的语言成绩，因为美国好一点的学校是不提供有条件录取的。
2、SAT成绩
美国普通的学校对于SAT只是一个参考点，而很注重SAT成绩，所以建议大家还是SAT成绩越高越好。综合排名前20的美国大学一般SAT1前两部分的平均分在1400左右，针对中国大陆的学生，部分学校没有要求一定要考SAT，但是，如果你想申请到高额的奖学金，SAT是必不可少的。
3、高中学习成绩和排名(某些高中接受高考成绩)
学生在高中前两年或三年的平均成绩至少85分，在90分以上，美国大学会通过申请人在高中学年的平时成绩来考察学生的学习情况，这是非常重要的可参考的一个标准。参照美国前30乃至前40的学校，几乎都要求以上。
留学美国大学还是很看重学生在班级或年级的排名，这个排名可以很形象的展现学生的成绩是否优异，美国前20的学校往年录取的学生中至少有50%是排名在前10位的，如果申请人所就读的学校的平均GPA 普遍不高，但是你在年级的排名很靠前，也会有利于体现你是否优秀。
4、丰富的课外活动
美国大学是很看重学生的综合能力的，丰富的课外活动能很具体的展现出学生在课堂之外的优点，特征，潜力，比如作为学生会的主席，能很具体的反映出学生的领导能力，比如组织同学参加了募捐活动，能很形象的反映出学生的创新能力，独立能力。还有在一些大公司实习的经历也是美国校方非常看重的。
5、推荐信
美国大学比较注重班主任老师或任课老师以及其他领域的长辈们对你的评价。所以，平时好好表现很重要的，一定给老师一个良好的形象。
6、获奖情况
如果申请者拿到过国际奖项，将对申请起到至关重要的作用。有时，甚至语言考试成绩较低都能够被录取。除此之外，还可以在高中的时候发表一些简单的研究性小论文，不需要长篇大论，只需要观点明确，也一定能在你的申请中起到相当重要的作用。

Due to the comprehensiveness of China’s “reform and open” policies， economics plays an increasingly important role in the development of its global position. Though more and more companies built， management of companies cannot catch up with the development of the companies. Management is a burgeoning field in China， so I hope I can acquire more modern knowledge on management in England.
The roots of my strong interest in business can be traced back to my childhood. My father was among the first of China’s new breed of modern entrepreneurs. As a young girl， it was inspirational hearing about his business ventures， and meeting the varied and interesting circle of entrepreneurs. My mother was also involved in business as an accountant， helping him with simple calculations. And so it was early in my life that I hoped I， also， would someday be able to enter the realm of business.
With the time of growing up， I preferred reading books to satisfy my curiosity. I never ceased to contemplate over the questions I encountered. Subjects on business and management became a special fascination to me and my knowledge of psychology as well as interest in this field was increasing rapidly.
As a high school student in China， I had to concentrate on the College Entrance Examination (CEE)， even so， books not related to the exams were never excluded from my life. Unfortunately when sitting in the exam in June， ， I was so nervous that I didn’t score well in the CEE exam. I enrolled in the department of Computer Science in Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Any attempt to persuade myself to focus on my major turned out to be a failure at the beginning of my college life. After several terms， I realized that I would never be interested in being a programmer or an engineer. At that moment， I lost my direction and objectives.
My persistence in reading saved me from the dark situation. As a matter of fact， I enjoyed reading the books included Encyclopedia American， and some books about management by Peter F.Drucker. I began to notice something interesting： Why some companies can produce more than others? Why some company can sell more than others? Why some companies can build up but others cannot when facing the same difficulties?
With the questions in my mind， I started to read many relevant books. I was lucky to read the book “Jack： Straight from the Gut”by Jack Welch， in Which John A. Byrne makes a clear illustration that the management is important for a company. When I was a junior， I ran a bookshop by myself near my school. I should manage not only the finance in the shop but also the employees in my shop even made some strategies to enlarge the business in my shop to hold on the run the shop. From this， my interpersonal skills and the capacity in business has been greatly developed， definitely I was increasingly interested in what I was doing. By December， ， I had finally determined to take business management as my career instead of IT. To accumulate more relevant knowledge， I strived to gain more practical work experience in some big companies.
Fortunately， as a senior， I began by conducting an internship in the Architecture Company in Zhejiang Province. Over six months， I worked as an assistant of the manager to harmonize the relationship between the different departments in this company and to draft some management system， which broadened my perspective of management conditions and business performance in different industries. The experience showed me that management is much more important than that of I thought in big companies. After graduation， I continued my work in this company. In May， ， the company offered me an opportunity to participate in an training program held by a famous management school. Through in-depth discussions with teachers and students in the classes， they all encouraged me to pursue my future career in management field because of my intellectual ability and the brand new ideas I mentioned.

As a child I often accompanied my father to his small coin shop and spent hours watching him work. When I was older, I sometimes set up displays, waited on customers, and even balanced the books. Further, as an assistant manager at the Showplace 11 and a staff coordinator at the SRSC, I have gained valuable expertise in managing employees and creating work schedules. Both of these positions have allowed me to develop my sales and people skills, which are extremely important in an increasingly service-driven marketplace.
Not all of my work experience has been as a paid employee. Part of my volunteering experience at Middleway House, the local battered women’s shelter, involved extensive work on computers, including word processing, organizing databases and creating spreadsheets. Also, I recently participated in an internship program for academic credit with the Eli Lilly corporation in the personnel division. As a management intern, I was able to watch the workings of a major corporation up close and would like the opportunity to combine my experiences with the theoretical background available in the MBA program at IUB, with its emphasis on computers, marketing and human resources.
My successful internship is one element of my overall academic success as an undergraduate here at IUB, yet I have also made time for a variety of extracurricular activities, including working for my sorority and competing in intramural basketball. My positive experiences here have resulted in my desire to stay in Bloomington to continue my academic endeavors; furthermore, continuing my education here would allow me to make important business contacts, with the career goal of opening my own computer consulting firm in the Midwest.
