我们再来说说休斯顿火箭队，我在之后那个夏天签了休斯顿火箭队，也许你们有人知道我在休斯顿的第一年过得并不好，每一场比赛我觉得我必须要成为“林来疯”，我必须无懈可击，我必须达到那种疯狂状态，甚至我觉得自己必须创造历史，可是我打得并没有那么好。于是我又开始纠结郁闷，再一次公众发飙了，我记得每一个人都开始嘲笑我，说我不过是昙花一现。我记得第一年在休斯顿，我简直整整一年都难过沮丧，当那个赛季结束时我对自己承诺，下一个赛季我一定会尽最大的努力，我要成为一个比之前的我更好的球员，我再也不要重现上一个赛季的悲催了，这是我自己对自己的承诺。于是我便迎来了自己在休斯顿火箭队的第二年，也就是刚刚过去的那个赛季，你们知道我打得极其努力，非常主动，整个赛季都打得不错。你想一想，整个赛季你玩儿命地打，你苦哈哈地打，从一个城市飞到另外一个城市，不停地打，可是就在一刹那、一个失误情势急转直下，整个赛季的航线都变了，看上去好像一切都完蛋了，所有压力一下子都砸在我的肩膀上。那个晚上，也许是自从我被球队裁掉之后，最最难熬的一夜，我记得我失眠了，我茫然不知所措，我觉得非常的沮丧。我只记得我开始沉思，我对自己说，你知道么，很多时候事情是不会按照你预期的方向去发展的，但是只要我自己尽了全力，而且全心全意地追随你内心的声音，就无须自责，我一定能挺过这关。
回看休斯顿的这一年，我的状态的确下降了、我的得分下降、篮板下降了、助攻下降了、抢断下降了，但是我自己真真切切体会到了一点，那就是我变得更加成熟了，正如你们所知我刚刚被转会到了湖人队，现在我可以梳理一下在我脑海里面发生的事情，我被交易的过程，这一切到底是怎么发生的`，还有我的感受。当时我在北京，那是凌晨两点，我正在酒店里呼呼大睡，我的手机突然响了。所以我接了电话，经纪人劈头一句：“你想听好消息还是坏消息”，我就说：“坏消息”，他说：“你现在必须立刻上飞机，飞回美国”，我说：“OK，那好消息呢”，他说：“你要去湖人队了”，我琢磨着湖人队，因为整个赛季我听到的无非是金州勇士队、华盛顿奇才队、密尔沃基雄鹿队、费城七十六人队，完全跟湖人队没有半毛钱关系，所以当他跟我说是湖人队时，我和我的小伙伴们都惊呆了，我高兴得一塌糊涂、兴奋异常。他说你现在必须试试，能否立刻找到一架飞机飞回来体检，我说：“好，但是现在是凌晨两点，我应该怎么办，叫醒所有的人吗?”他说：“对，你应该这么做，然后给我电话”。我说：“好”，然后我打开门，跑到大厅尽头 ，开始敲我妈妈的门、敲我嫂子的门、我训练师的门、我弟弟的门，把他们全从床上叫起来，他们都迷迷糊糊地问发生什么事情了，大家都半梦半醒的问到底怎么了，我把消息告诉了他们，然后立刻就飞回到洛杉矶，落地、体检、签约，紧接着又跳上飞机，飞回上海，今天就来到这儿了。

When I was a naughty boy， may be because of theinfluence of the film。"Xiao Bing Zhang Ga"，my dreamwas to be a soldier just like Zhang Ga。 I thought if Iwas a soldier， I should be able to swim， dive andclimb trees as he did。 It seemed to be verywonderful。 So I began to learn swimming， diving andclimbing trees。 I practiced every day and finally Icould do them well。 But when I entered junior highschool and had the military training。 I suddenlyfound that being a soldier was very difficult and Iwasn't strong enough to bear it 。 I had to give mydream up。

but one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the negro is still not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languishing in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. so we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition.
in a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check which has come back marked "insufficient funds." but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.
so we have come to cash this check — a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of god's children. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.
it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and to underestimate the determination of the negro. this sweltering summer of the negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning.
those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.
but there is something that i must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. in the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.
we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.
the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must not lead us to distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.
we cannot walk alone.and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall march ahead. we cannot turn back. there are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "when will you be satisfied?" we can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied as long as the negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. we can never be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in new york believes he has nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.

I am grateful for the opportunity to deliver my speech here after 7-days’ preparation with my friend Jinly. Thanks to Jinly’s strong support in our work. I think it is my way of saying thank you to you that giving an excellent presentation to all my friends here.
The subject of our presentation is “YOUR DREAM & YOUR GOAL”. During the next 10 minutes, we’ll give you a brief explanation of these stuff at the best of our knowledge.
First of all, I’d like to spent 3 or 5 minutes on discussing about the dream. When we were 5, they asked us what we want to be when we grow up. We answered like superman, princess, or in my case, a sailor moon. When we were 10, again they asked and the answer was policemen, doctors and some other high-principled jobs. But unfortunately, we finally found our dreams unrealistic as we entered a not-so-good high school, did not-so-good school works and went to a not-so-good direction in our life. I guess, many of you have thought about changing your dreams, but finally felt at a loss again. Yep! We’re adults and they are waiting for a serious answer. Well, how about this? WHO THE HELL KNOWS! Dream is only a dream. It’s unnecessary for us to think over our dreams all day long. You know, dreams always change, and this is not the time to make difficult decisions. But what do dreams do? Why do we still have an urgent need of dreams?
Think about it: do you have had a time when you were full of happiness just because you have made an achievement that pushes you a bit to your dream? Do you have had a time when you insist on what you were doing even the tears keep falling from your eyes? That is the power from dreams! May I equate the faith and the dream here? As we all know, aims and dreams are far from each other to some extent but close to each other on the other hand. Just like the parabola and the number line in mathematics. But it is the dream that help us to map out our aim and work out plans one after another in our life. Just like what Howard Schultz, the founder of the Starbuck said, Dreams are like the stars—-we never reach them, but like mariners, we chart our course by them. And I believe that if you have a dream and make efforts step by step, some of you may extremely finish the quantitative change on the way to success and reach the qualitative change!
I would like to finish my part by a tongue twister: Whether the weather be fine or whether the weather be not. Whether the weather be cold or whether the weather be hot. We'll weather the weather whether we like it or not. Whatever you dreams are and however difficult it is to realize them. Reach your aim step by step and I believe your dreams will extremely come into truth!

While I was schooling in Australia, my friends from school andI received a n assignment one day, "To make a ten to twenty minute movie on the topic of your choice." At the time, the trend was based around the popular Matrix movie trilogy, so that became our obvious choice.
Because our schedule was very tight, and it was a first time experience, we found it all very hard work, but when we released our production at school, it was worth it. After my friends and I showed the movie, we could not get from one end of the school to the other without getting congratulated about five or six times. We, especially I, were proud. We made a school-wide sensation.
From then on, I became obsessed with how to make movies and how filming is done. I just wanted to know about everyone and everything that has something to do with movies. I would watch a movie four to five times, just to find out how one camera angle, or
special effect was produced. I found everything I watched quite amazing. I sometimes admired directors and producers of these films because the techniques they use are so smart. Their cleverness inspired me to make and act in movies.
When I become little bit older, I would like to attend a movie academy in Beijing or Shanghai, then America, or England, after some training and experience, I would like to make a movie, which will most likely be an action movie, which is my favorite kind of movie to watch.. If I am lucky, I hope I would get an Oscar Award for this movie. I think that would be quite a challenge, but it’s not impossible. For now, it’s back to watching movies over and over again for me!
